Radiology Technician specializing in X-ray technology is sought for a position in a busy healthcare facility located in Conroe, Texas. This role involves providing comprehensive radiographic services in a high-volume, high-acuity unit, with responsibilities including trauma, orthopedic, neuro, and general surgical procedures. The position offers a 12-hour shift schedule with a focus on delivering quality patient care across diverse populations.

Job Details

• Location: Conroe, Texas
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have trauma radiography experience (Trauma II), orthopedic-trauma, and experience with neuro or general surgical radiography. Experience with C-Arms including GE, OEC, Philips, or O-Arm Fluoroscopy is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with experience in high-volume, high-acuity radiography, portable radiography, fluoroscopy, and familiarity with comprehensive diagnostic fluoroscopy are preferred.
• Responsibilities: Perform high-quality radiographic procedures, operate advanced imaging equipment, adhere to safety and clinical protocols, and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Other Conditions: Candidates must be willing to work a 2-2-3 matrix schedule that includes every other weekend, night call responsibilities once weekly, and occasional shifts or departmental support at off-site locations as needed.
• Additional Information: The unit maintains high standards for attire, with scrub colors changing from Burgundy to Hunter Green beginning August 1, 2019. All staff may be required to work different shifts or departments during critical staffing periods, holidays, or disaster response. The unit has a reputation for technological advancement and experienced staff, making it an attractive placement for skilled radiology technologists.
