Job Summary:
Polysomnographer in Payson, AZ This position involves independently performing diagnostic sleep studies, including home sleep tests, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. The role acts as a resource within the department, ensuring high-quality patient care through precise data collection and analysis.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, Registry by the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists or proof of passing the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), clinical knowledge with at least 3 years of experience in sleep disorders testing, proficiency with sleep testing equipment, and thorough knowledge of sleep/wake cycle, EEG theory related to sleep monitoring, and cardiopulmonary physiology during sleep. Must demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
• Additional Information: Position involves performing prescribed diagnostic sleep monitoring, including home sleep tests, analyzing sleep records, troubleshooting equipment, reviewing pertinent medical history, and assisting with department policies and educational activities. Must adhere to regulatory standards and maintain quality assurance.
