Job Summary:
Maternal Fetal Medicine (FETAL MED) Ultrasound Technologist position in New York. The role involves performing ultrasound examinations specific to high-risk obstetric patients, with a focus on capturing detailed fetal views as evaluated by a maternal-fetal medicine specialist. The technologist will operate ultrasound equipment, assist in patient preparation, and help maintain technical accuracy in imaging.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day Shift, 8:30AM 4:30PM, Monday through Friday
• Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification; OB experience with high-risk obstetric patients; proficiency in PACS and Microsoft Office; at least 2 years as Ultrasound Technologist; knowledge of ultrasound examination procedures, ultrasound equipment operation, and maintenance; location requirements: candidates must be local for in-person interviews.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The ultrasound technologist will assist in the orientation and mentorship of new staff, ensure all safety protocols are followed during examinations, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve and make decisions independently.
