Job Summary
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH) position is located in a healthcare facility. The role involves performing and assisting with invasive cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety, optimal imaging quality, and compliance with safety standards under physician supervision. This opportunity requires a dedicated professional to support diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Cardiovascular Procedural Area.

Job Details

Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: High school diploma or GED, graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology Program, current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist licensure, minimum of two (2) years post-technical school radiology work experience or recent experience as a Special Procedures Technologist, Basic Arrhythmia Exam, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) certification.
Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Provides support during invasive procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring.
Assists physicians with the administration of contrast media for arterial, venous, and percutaneous procedures.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, and equipment operation.
Maintains and cleans interventional equipment, participates in departmental training, and supports quality improvement initiatives.
Uses lead apron during procedures; on-call availability required for off-shifts, weekends, and holidays.
