Description

Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position is based in a healthcare facility located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The role involves providing therapy services to inpatients within a busy rehabilitation department, supporting patient recovery and functional independence. This opportunity offers a chance to work with a highly experienced team in a supportive and family-oriented environment, with a schedule aligned to a daytime shift.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour days, with one weekend day per month. A flex day during the week is available if working a weekend shift.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or higher, state licensure as a Physical Therapist, and at least 1 year of clinical experience. Certifications must be obtained prior to start, including applicable state requirements; additional certifications may be required by the organization.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in orthopedics, neurology, general medical, or similar fields is preferred. CCU experience is a plus.
  • Float: Float rotation is not required.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must meet the jurisdictional requirements for employment in the state of New Mexico, including fingerprinting and background checks prior to hire. The facility has a highly experienced team with staff tenure exceeding 25 years. The department employs modern equipment and fosters a supportive, fun, and encouraging work environment.
  • Start Date: 08/10/2026.
  • Location: 2450 S Telshor Blvd, Las Cruces, NM 88011.
  • Patient Population: Inpatients with an average caseload of 10-12 patients per therapist, with a total average census of 120 across the unit.
