Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position located in Carmichael, California. This role involves performing cardiac invasive procedures, including peripheral, carotid, and EVAR interventions, within a busy Cath Lab environment. The position requires technical expertise in cardiac catheterization procedures and adherence to clinical protocols to support patient care and safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, with rotating assignments and required call coverage from Friday 1730 to Monday 0700, including at least one weekend. Response time for call responses is approximately 30 minutes.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification, minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience, California state license to submit, and ability to scrub cardiac and peripheral cases. Candidates must have cath lab experience specifically related to PCI and STEMI procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner charting system, knowledge of cardiac invasive procedures (IR & Cath lab), and experience with peripheral and carotid interventions.
• Additional Information: No radiology licenses required. Staff will be responsible for scrubbing in various cardiac and IR procedures. The role may involve floating to other units based on skill level, with orientation tailored to experience. The facility emphasizes team response for holidays and rotating shifts.
