Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is sought in Reno, Nevada. This position involves producing diagnostic MRI scans, assisting radiologists and referring physicians, and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, Level 2 trauma center environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating MRI scanners, including GE or Philips models, and be capable of working varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
Job Details:
- Position: MRI Technologist
- Location: 1155 Mill St, Reno, NV 89502
- Schedule: Days; 10-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/08/2026
- Required Qualifications: ARRT in MRI certification, BLS (AHA), minimum of 2 years MRI experience with GE or Philips scanners, NV licensure, and a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MRI in a Level 2 trauma or high-volume environment.
- Additional Information: Standard duties include performing MRI scans, working with advanced physics and technical skills, and maintaining patient safety across pediatric to geriatric populations. The role may involve float to various departments and working on major holidays or additional shifts as needed. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with MRI equipment and hospital computer systems, maintaining accuracy and professionalism under pressure.
