Description
Job Summary:
Kenosha, Wisconsin MRI Technologist. This position involves providing MRI imaging services at a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. The role requires working with adult patients primarily, with some pediatric cases based on patient cooperation. The technologist will operate Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners, supporting high-quality imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in BLS, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT, 1-2 years of experience in MRI, outpatient experience accepted, Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI experience with strong comfort level, Basic magnetic resonance (MR) principles and safety practices, good screening habits, peripheral IV start skills, implant workup knowledge, familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system, and proficient use of MRI IV pumps, PACS (McKesson/Change Healthcare).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens MRI systems, strong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Additional Information: The facility supports a 24/7 virtual radiologist reading service with communication primarily via Teams or phone. MRI technologists may work on call rotation with a 30-minute response time, and holiday coverage is required. There is no floating requirement for this role. Orientation occurs over 1-2 shifts, with occasional weekend rotations and approved time off of 3-4 days.
