Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient position located in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring effective return to community activities. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and colleagues, while adhering to organizational standards and promoting safety.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; 1 or more years of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; active applicable license for the state of Ohio; completed an assignment previously with the organization or the staffing agency (highly desired)
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with outpatient therapy in a clinical setting; familiarity with performance improvement initiatives; commitment to ongoing professional development
- Additional Information: Performs comprehensive patient evaluations, develops treatment goals based on clinical reasoning, and ensures documentation complies with state and federal guidelines. Actively participates in student training, maintains licensure, and abides by professional and regulatory standards. Demonstrates safety awareness and contributes to organizational performance improvement efforts.
