Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient position available in the outpatient setting within a healthcare facility located in Lakeland, Florida. This role involves assisting the physical therapy team in implementing treatment plans, supporting patient progress through therapeutic interventions, and promoting patient safety and well-being. Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; CAPTE (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education) certification; active license for the state of Florida; CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification; no minimum experience required, but 1 or more years of outpatient clinical experience is preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in outpatient physical therapy settings is highly desired
• Additional Information: The role involves assisting with therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening exercises, balance and coordination exercises, and patient education. The therapist will also train patients in the use of assistive devices and modalities, monitor patient responses, and document progress. Adherence to safety and infection control guidelines is essential, including proper equipment use and maintenance of a clean treatment environment. The position requires excellent patient and team communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and quality care.
