Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with inpatient specialization for a role in Okeechobee, Florida. This position involves providing physical therapy services within an inpatient unit, supporting patient recovery and mobility. The role offers a daytime schedule with a typical work week of 40 hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 09/07/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a PT or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, with at least 1 year of experience.
• Responsibilities: Performing inpatient physical therapy procedures on both inpatient and outpatient units, assisting with patient rehabilitation needs.
• Unit Information:
  • 100 beds with a staff of 31 professionals
  • Documentation system in use: Meditech
  • Call requirement: Flexibility preferred, with day shifts and occasional weekend coverage appreciated.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work as part of a team, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and a focus on efficiency (aiming for 3 units per hour).
• Dress Code: Pale or dove gray, or black scrub pants with a dove/dove gray top.
