Description

Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist - Mammography / Morristown, NJ. This position involves performing mammographic procedures, including bone density and breast biopsy examinations, in accordance with industry standards and guidelines. The role requires reviewing patient records, ensuring accurate positioning, and delivering high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some flexibility to fill day shifts.
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an NJDEP approved radiography program; NJ Department of Environmental Protection Diagnostic Radiography license; ARRT certification in Mammography; BLS Certified; Up-to-date with 15 current Mammography Continuing Education credits; documented training in 2D and 3D mammography; experience performing stereotactic biopsies, breast interventions, and diagnostic exams; ability to work independently; excellent communication skills; effective in high-volume team environments.
Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of Mammography experience; proficiency in Epic and Sectra PACS, which can be obtained during training.
Additional Information: The candidate must practice universal precautions, adhere to all departmental policies, maintain licenses and certifications, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of all equipment. The role may include call and holiday rotations and requires maintaining compliance with MQSA standards. Candidates should be capable of training and mentoring new staff or students and participate in annual Image Wisely pledge.
