Description
Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist position located in Cooperstown, New York. This role involves performing X-ray procedures within a healthcare facility, adhering to established protocols and safety standards. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, with work hours approximately from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM Friday into Saturday, 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM Saturday to Sunday, and 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM Sunday into Monday, totaling 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification as an X-ray Technologist, with applicable education and licensing in the state of New York. Previous experience of at least 1 year performing radiologic procedures is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and experience working in a healthcare environment with standard radiology protocols.
- Additional Information: The role requires adherence to facility-specific SOPs and safety procedures. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, positioning patients, and maintaining accurate records. Flexibility to work scheduled shifts and the ability to perform procedures in accordance with clinical standards are essential.
