Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Coos Bay, Oregon. This position involves performing assessments of patient respiratory status, delivering respiratory treatments, evaluating patient responses, and providing patient education related to respiratory health and wellness. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, with a focus on pediatric and neonatal patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in an acute hospital setting; some experience with infants and pediatrics; certifications including PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association; National Registry for Respiratory Therapists (NBRC) credential; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications; Oregon state licensure.
