Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings is sought in St. Joseph, Missouri. This position involves developing and leading treatment plans to enhance swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities for residents. The role requires adherence to regulatory standards and guiding the delivery of speech language pathology services within the facility.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid, unrestricted license in speech therapy discipline in Missouri, meet educational licensure requirements, valid drivers license, knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
- Preferred Qualifications: None listed
- Additional Information: Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in speech-language pathology, preferably in long-term care or rehabilitation settings. Missouri State licensure and CCC certification are required. Submission must include one reference. The candidate will be redirected if the requested rate differs from the posted rate.
