Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer position in Romney, West Virginia. The role involves performing ultrasound examinations including abdominal, pelvic, soft tissue, deep vein thrombosis, testicle, and thyroid scans, with carotid exams considered a plus. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging in a critical access hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Romney, West Virginia
• Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, from 7:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), WV Cares (proof of current status required at time of submission)
• Years of Experience: 2+ years of relevant ultrasound technology experience
• Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience performing abdominal, pelvic, soft tissue, DVT, testicular, thyroid, and carotid ultrasound exams
• Unit Information:
  • Number of beds: 8-bed emergency department, 14-bed critical access hospital
  • Patient ratios: 1:1
  • Equipment: Not specified
  • EMR: EPIC
• Dress Code: Scrubs in Caribbean Blue; adherence to VH dress code policy for unacceptable attire
• Additional Information: This is a vacant position created to fill a staffing gap at the facility
