Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional heart catheterization procedures in a high-volume, state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab. The candidate will provide technical expertise to ensure patient safety and procedural success in a busy clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, RCIS or ARRT certification, recent one year of experience in electrophysiology procedures, must have PICC line experience, flexibility to work days, NC state licensing preferred but not mandatory
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, structural heart procedures, and proficiency with EMR systems such as Cerner
- Additional Information: No float required. This position involves supporting a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at a tertiary care facility with advanced cardiovascular services, including open-heart surgery, interventional cardiology, and a comprehensive stroke program. Candidates should be comfortable working in a high-acuity environment and adhering to unit policies and safety guidelines.
