Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo specializing in adult echocardiography imaging in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This role involves performing adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress testing, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and supporting procedures related to cardiac imaging in an inpatient and outpatient setting.

Job Details:

  • Position: Ultrasonographer Echo
  • Start Date: 08/24/2026
  • Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications as Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); BLS-Healthcare Provider (BLS-AHA); Epic software experience; must have at least 1 year of prior travel experience; employment separation from the organization for at least 6 months
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Philips Epiq and Philips Affinity ultrasound equipment; familiarity with adult TTE, stress testing, dobutamine stress, TEE, TAVR procedures; prior inpatient and outpatient echocardiography experience
  • Additional Information: The facility is an inpatient and outpatient center with approximately 200 beds, providing a range of cardiac procedures. The caseload averages 8-10 cases per technician. The orientation period lasts 10 days. Rotation involves working one Saturday per month (7:30 AM to 1:30 PM) and participating in one week of on-call duties. Candidates must be separated from the healthcare provider for at least six months to be eligible.
