Job Summary:
X-ray Technologist position available in Tampa, Florida. The role involves performing portable imaging and bedside imaging with a focus on trauma center procedures. Candidates should have strong experience in portable X-ray knowledge and at least two years of clinical imaging experience. The position is scheduled for night shifts and requires dedication to operational excellence in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications or licenses as an X-ray Technologist, two or more years of experience performing portable and bedside imaging, Florida state licensure or equivalent, experience in a trauma center setting preferred, familiarity with NICU, Echmo, VAD, and Trauma ICU procedures, equipment familiarity: portable X-ray machines
- Preferred Qualifications: Level 1 Trauma center experience, NICU/ECHMO/VAD/Trauma ICU experience, expertise in portable X-ray knowledge
- Float: Float rotation may not be required
- Additional Information: This role entails performing portable imaging in a hospital environment, supporting trauma and critical care units, and adhering to standard safety and operational procedures.
