Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatric (PEDS) care is needed in Aurora, Colorado. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services in a high-volume pediatric unit, supporting patient care with advanced equipment and collaborative team efforts. The role offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a professional setting focused on delivering exceptional pediatric respiratory care.

Job Details:

• Location: The healthcare facility is located at 1501 S Potomac Street, Aurora, CO 80012.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS. Education and experience require candidates to have at least 6 months of current acute care respiratory therapist hospital experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience and pediatric, neonatal intensive care unit, or pediatric intensive care unit experience are advantageous.
• Additional Information: The unit features state-of-the-art equipment including Hamilton G5/C1/T1 ventilators, V60, Vyair Avea, and EMR systems utilizing Meditech. The staffing ratio varies but generally includes a team of qualified respiratory therapists and support staff. The unit emphasizes energetic, team-oriented, and honest personalities, with a focus on delivering a positive patient experience.
• Experience: 6 years of hospital respiratory therapy experience.
