Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist specialty position available in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves providing critical respiratory care to adult and NICU patients within a busy healthcare facility equipped with advanced technology. The position offers a dynamic environment focused on teamwork and adherence to organizational values, requiring a minimum of two years of Respiratory Therapy experience.
Job Details:
- Position: Respiratory Therapist
- Specialty: RT PEDS Respiratory Therapist Registered
- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
- Schedule: Days shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT), BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications; minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience; valid drivers license and insurance as applicable; location requirements include being 50 miles outside of the home unit if traveler resides within designated radius
- Patient Care: Adult care and NICU (no pediatric) patients, with an average of over 300 patients daily
- Department Support: Department led by respiratory care leadership and experienced staff
- Technology & Equipment: Epic Electronic Medical Record system, Servo ventilators (including I, U, and Airs), Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, bubble cpap
- Floating: Floating to all listed facilities within Region 2including Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, any Freestanding Emergency Department within Region, and Central Division (including main hospital and childrens hospital)may be required per region needs, with travel time compensated if floating mid-shift
- Orientation: Two-day departmental orientation and facility/unit-specific orientation
- Additional Notes: Scrub color: royal blue; team-oriented culture emphasizing adherence to organizational values
