Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role involves assessing and treating patients to improve their ability to perform Activities of Daily Living, including mobility, grooming, and cognitive skills. The position is primarily focused on developing care plans, administering therapies, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient independence and recovery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid New Mexico state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy, at least 1 year of occupational therapy experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, excellent organizational abilities
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include verifying physician orders prior to evaluation, conducting thorough assessments, establishing goals and care plans in collaboration with patients and their families, and administering treatments such as therapeutic exercises, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and mobility training. The therapist will acquire appropriate equipment, ensure safety protocols, and coordinate with physicians regarding patient progress.
