Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (Registered) position located in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing respiratory therapy procedures to patients across a wide age range, with a focus on critical care and general care units. The position requires working in a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center environment, supporting a diverse patient population from newborns to geriatrics.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Nevada State Licensure as a Respiratory Therapist, must possess a minimum of 2 years of acute care respiratory therapy experience, including recent critical care experience, and must have a valid license in hand prior to submission.

• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required for responsibilities beyond the primary department.
• Additional Information: Therapists may be required to float to other units as needed based on competency. Work may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts. The position involves engaging with patients and families to ensure a positive care experience, along with proper documentation and adherence to clinical protocols. The environment is highly dynamic, requiring continuous mental focus and quick decision-making.
