Description
Job Summary:
Xray Technologist position available in Bronx, New York. This role involves performing general radiography procedures within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have the necessary certifications and licensing to operate as a radiologic technologist and will be committed to providing quality imaging services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: One (1) year of General Radiographer experience; completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist to include Military Training; current certification and registration as a Radiology Tech issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); a valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NY State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
- Preferred Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Additional Information: The position requires adherence to facility protocols regarding radiologic procedures and safety standards. Candidates must be able to operate imaging equipment and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
