Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist Outpatient (OP) in an outpatient setting. This role involves providing speech and language services to patients, developing treatment plans, conducting initial and ongoing assessments, and educating patients and their families. The position requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent; Speech Language Pathologist License (SLP) issued by the state; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; 1 year of experience (preferably in a clinical setting).
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 32 hours per week.
• Required Skills & Experience: PATIENT ASSESSMENT, CARE PLAN DEVELOPMENT, SPEECH THERAPY, DOCUMENTATION.
• Preferred Skills & Experience: N/A.
• Additional Information: Role involves participating in the development of speech therapy plans of care, performing assessments including OASIS assessments at appropriate time points, and documenting care accurately and timely. Collaboration with physicians and educational activities for team members, patients, and families are essential.
