Job Summary
Radiation Therapist - Gilbert, AZ. This position involves performing prescribed planned courses of radiation therapy in accordance with department policies and professional standards. The role includes patient assessment, treatment planning, operation of treatment and simulation equipment, and adherence to radiation safety protocols. The Radiation Therapist will collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care and safety.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess strong knowledge of clinical care as normally obtained through an Associate degree in radiation oncology or related field. Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable. BLS certification required. Must be knowledgeable of clinical techniques, applications, and equipment relative to the area of work. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, and be safety conscious.
• Experience requirement: 0 years minimum.
• Additional Information: Employees working at this facility must possess a State of Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and maintain it during employment. The role may involve directing the activities of students and support staff at select facilities.
