Description
Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical Nurse Specialist in Santa Monica, California. This position involves providing specialized care in a fast-paced radiology department, performing advanced procedures, and working in an interdisciplinary environment. The role requires flexibility to cover call shifts and weekends, with an emphasis on patient-centered care and procedural support.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 8 hours shifts with minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Required Qualifications: California license in hand; ARRT certification; BLS certification; 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or a similar setting
- Certifications: ARRT, BLS
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: Performing advanced interventional radiology procedures, utilizing fluoroscopy and specialized imaging equipment, supporting various vascular access and drainage procedures, maintaining sterile technique and managing equipment and supplies
- Additional Information: Must be willing to work call shifts once a weekday from 1600-0700 and a three-day weekend (Friday to Sunday) once per month; must be available for holiday coverage (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day); prior experience with Epic charting system preferred; minimum 1 year of travel or community hospital experience preferred; familiarity with high acuity adult and geriatric patient populations
