Description
Job Summary:
Xray Technologist position available in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures with a focus on producing high-quality images. The technician will operate imaging equipment, assess patient conditions, and ensure proper preparation of examination rooms in accordance with licensed physician requests.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, valid licensure or certification as an Xray Technologist, located within the state of Michigan or able to commute to Detroit
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, familiarity with radiology equipment maintenance and patient assessment skills
- Additional Information: Performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by licensed physicians. Provides technical support for radiographic examinations, including operating imaging equipment, assessing patient conditions, preparing examination rooms, maintaining equipment, and medications. Responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic radiographs. The radiology technician rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology.
