Job Summary

CT Technologist, CT. The position provides imaging services in an acute care setting, including X-rays and computed tomography scans. Responsibilities include rotating weekend coverage and caring for patients across neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Job Details

Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week, 40 hours weekly, with variable shifts from 7:00 AM3:30 PM or 9:30 AM6:00 PM and rotating weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography certification
- Radiology fluoroscopy certification or license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) within 30 days of hire
- Two years of experience
- Computed tomography experience in an acute care setting
- Experience with required charting systems
Additional Information:
- Performs X-ray and computed tomography imaging examinations.
- Performs computed tomography procedures involving contrast administration, vascular imaging, trauma imaging, cardiac imaging, and neurological studies.
- Supports imaging for emergency, intensive care, outpatient, and acute care patients.
- Applies radiation safety practices, isolation precautions, and personal protective equipment procedures.
- Performs venipuncture and starts peripheral intravenous lines as needed.
- Uses picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), three-dimensional rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region-of-interest measurements.
- Provides coverage for rotating weekends.
