Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position located in Rock Island, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality patient management across local campuses. The position requires active state licensure and experience in pediatric respiratory therapy.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings shift with 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois respiratory therapist license at the time of submission, Illinois license must be active at submission; if the Illinois license is not active, proof of application for the Illinois single state license at offer acceptance is required. Current respiratory therapist (RRT) experience of at least 2 years. Certification in BLS (American Heart Association or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NRP is required. Valid driver's license. EMR documentation in EPICOT is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. Experience with pediatric respiratory care.
• Additional Information: First-time travelers are accepted; local candidates are not permissible, and all candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility. Candidates will be expected to float within the discipline across local campuses. The role includes on-call responsibilities during weekends, with specific multiplier compensation policies. Orientation sessions are scheduled weekly, every Monday. Submission requires detailed employment history showing at least 24 months of current respiratory therapy experience, and a skills checklist specific to respiratory therapy.
