Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Pediatric (RT PEDS) position, located in Bridgeton, Missouri. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care, including invasive and non-invasive ventilation, patient assessments, treatments, and monitoring to pediatric patients. The position requires delivering high-quality care within the scope of licensure, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining accurate records throughout the assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT), with at least 2 years of experience in pediatric respiratory therapy; Missouri state licensure; ability to perform advanced respiratory interventions and assessments; excellent communication skills; flexibility to work day shifts as specified
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric emergency procedures, advanced airway management, and familiarity with ventilatory equipment in a hospital setting
• Additional Information: Respiratory Therapists in this role will evaluate and treat pediatric patients using various ventilatory devices, perform procedures such as EKGs and pulmonary function studies, assist with invasive procedures, monitor equipment, and collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans. Accurate documentation and adherence to policies are essential.
