Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care for neonatal patients in a Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role includes evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and educating families, with a focus on neonatal respiratory support.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner credential from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee or a Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 30 days of hire; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; two years of experience or more as a respiratory therapist preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Additional Information: Provides advanced respiratory care modalities such as Servo N, Bunnell Jet Ventilator, 3100A Oscillator, Bubble CPAP, and Optiflow. This role requires commitment to every third weekend.
