Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technologist for a position based in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role involves performing electroencephalogram procedures and supporting clinical assessments within a sleep laboratory setting. The candidate will work a night shift schedule, providing essential diagnostic support for sleep studies and neurological testing.
Job Details:
- Position: EEG Technologist Registered
- Location: Burlington, Massachusetts
- Schedule: Nights; 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, approximately 30 hours per week, with a 13-week assignment duration
- Required Qualifications: High school education; at least one year of sleep lab experience; registration eligible or registered EEG Technologist; experience with Epic electronic health record system; must have been separated from the organization for more than 6 months to be considered
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing polysomnography and sleep studies, including titration of CPAP/BIPAP and administering oxygen therapy; knowledge of American Clinical Neurophysiology Society and American Society of Sleep Medicine guidelines
- Additional Information: The role entails monitoring and recording sleep and neurological activity, troubleshooting equipment, evaluating patient data, and participating in quality improvement activities. Candidates should demonstrate good communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and a willingness to engage in continuing education related to sleep medicine and neurophysiology.
