Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position available within a critical care unit located in Englewood, Colorado. This role involves providing specialized respiratory therapy services in a busy pediatric intensive care environment. The position is suitable for professionals dedicated to making a difference in patient outcomes and interested in working with advanced equipment and technology.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT RRT) credential, minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital experience in respiratory therapy, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications, located in the United States, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) or pediatrics (PEDS), familiarity with Level 1 trauma environments.
• Additional Information: The unit has 502 beds with 64-70 staff members, including clinical respiratory therapists. The unit utilizes Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators and the Meditech electronic medical record system. The ideal candidate will have a high-energy personality, a focus on patient care, and an interest in critical care. The position offers the opportunity to work with new equipment and a seasoned team of healthcare professionals.
