Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) position located in Austin, Texas. The role involves providing respiratory care in a pediatric unit, with a focus on ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and nebulizer treatments. This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment specializing in pediatric respiratory care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Respiratory Therapy (RT) for pediatric positions; no minimum experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: ICU, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience; list typical procedures performed on unit include nebulizer therapy, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management.
• Additional Information: Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical skills in pediatric respiratory therapy, with a professional approach to patient care and teamwork. Dress code includes olive green tops and black bottoms. The unit values experienced staff and offers schedule flexibility with options for new equipment and technology.
