Job Summary:
The inpatient Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is based in a healthcare facility located in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing speech therapy services within an inpatient acute rehabilitation and long-term acute care setting. The position requires a dedicated professional to support patient recovery and functional communication.

Job Details:

• Location: Houston, TX
• Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 32 hours
• Start Date: 09/07/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Required Qualifications: Certifications and Education Requirements include a valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist, with at least 2 years of independent experience performing MBSI (Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Study). Candidates must have the ability to operate in an inpatient setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in inpatient rehabilitation or long-term acute care settings is preferred. A candidate who has previously worked for the organization and is considered for rehire is noted as Alessandra Peters.
• Additional Information: The position may require floating to other units including MedCenter and Sugarland Facilities ARU and LTACH, as needed. The facility has 12 rehabilitation beds and 80 long-term acute care beds. Scrub colors and dress code are flexible, with parking available in employee parking lots.
