Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist specializing in inpatient (acute care) in Pasadena, Texas. This role involves serving primarily in the inpatient / acute care setting with potential float to outpatient services, depending on census needs. The position entails a Monday through Friday schedule with hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and may include Saturday shifts with prior arrangement, along with possible Sunday on-call. The candidate will provide care across a patient caseload that includes orthopedic, neuro, general medical, and surgical cases.

Job Details:

• Location: Pasadena, Texas
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with potential Saturday shifts arranged in advance and possible Sunday on-call; some weekdays may involve 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. shifts for attending mandatory department meetings.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; BLS (AHA) certification; a minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient or acute care settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong inpatient / acute care skills are highly preferred.
• Additional Information: The position involves working primarily in an inpatient / acute care setting, with potential float to outpatient if census permits. The caseload includes orthopedic, neuro, general medical, and surgical patients. The hospital can cancel up to four shifts during a 13-week assignment or three shifts over shorter durations. Charting is completed in MEDITECH.
