Description
Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position available in Everett, Washington. This role involves operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment in a free-standing emergency department with a patient mix of approximately 50% emergency department and 50% outpatient cases. The position requires the ability to perform both radiology and MRI procedures, with coverage scheduled for nights.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 4x10s shifts from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), ARRT Radiology (R), and Washington State Certification in both MRI and Radiology; 2 years of experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, ER/trauma, pediatric acute care, or pediatric outpatient settings; licensed in Washington State.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and pediatric acute care environments, proficiency in chest, abdomen, pelvis, head, spinal, extremity imaging, and familiarity with PACS and contrast media procedures.
- Additional Information: The candidate should have experience operating MRI equipment for various body parts including brain, shoulder, pelvis, and extremities. The role involves preparing and administering contrast media, practicing radiation safety, and adhering to PPE protocols. References covering 1 year (or 6 months for CNA roles) are required, with a total of two references during the last three years. Modules include non-billable training averaging 16 hours, with longer hours requiring project manager approval.
