Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position available in Grafton, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to diverse patient populations including neonates to geriatrics, with a focus on critical care, emergency, and delivery services. The position requires working during night shifts and involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across a Level III trauma center and primary stroke center.

Job Details:

• Location: 975 Port Washington Road, Grafton, WI 53024
• Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS)
• Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: Night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications; Respiratory Therapist (RT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT); minimum of 2 years of experience in critical/ICU settings; Wisconsin state license or eligibility
• Preferred Qualifications: NICU experience; experience with c-sections and deliveries; placement of art lines, intubation experience
• Support within the Department: RNs on the unit; Rapid Response Team; other respiratory therapy staff and department leaders
• Technology/Equipment: EPIC electronic medical record system; Pyxis medication dispensing; Puritan Bennet and Hamilton ventilators
• Float: Will float throughout the facility and may be assigned to various units including Emergency Department
• Orientation: 1-2 shifts in department based on comfort level
• Additional Notes: Scrub color: any solid, professional color with no graphics or logos; free parking in designated areas
