Job Summary
MRI Technologist position located in New York, NY. The role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, primarily on adult patients, with occasional pediatric cases. The position is part-time with days shifts, suitable for candidates with strong technical skills and clinical experience in MRI imaging.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License, New York State IV/Injection Certification (preferably already obtained, with on-site physician skills sign-off available for strong candidates), Registered Technologist (ARRT) in MRI, BLS certification, at least 2 years of clinical MRI experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Existing New York State IV/Injection Certification, over 1 year of travel experience, familiarity with gray/black scrubs.
- Additional Information: The position is based at a full-service outpatient imaging center in lower Manhattan, within a division of a major medical institution. Responsibilities include conducting MRI procedures with a focus on patient safety and image quality.
