Job Summary
The Mammographer position is located in Seattle, Washington, within an outpatient clinic setting. The role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, including 3D mammography and digital imaging, in a fast-paced environment. This position requires flexibility to accommodate unit needs, with shift times varying throughout the day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with shift hours that vary based on unit needs, including times from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ARRT Mammography (ARRT M), ARRT Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R), and BLS. Candidates should have at least 2 years of mammography experience, including competency in 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening procedures.
- Additional Information: No weekends or holidays, with the facility closed after Thanksgiving and open on Christmas Eve. No call required. The position supports outpatient breast imaging procedures, with a typical exam volume of 15-18 exams per day per tech. Flexibility is essential due to shift variations.
- Travel Experience Required: No
- References: Two references covering at least 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years during the compliance process, including Charge RNs or Lead roles are required and must be submitted prior to start.
- Modules: Non-billable modules averaging 16 hours, with additional approval needed for over 20 hours; modules are completed pre-start and annually, with self-reporting of time spent.
