Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Michigan. This position involves providing advanced respiratory care services to pediatric patients requiring emergency, intensive, or therapeutic treatments. The role requires assessment, patient education, equipment management, and collaboration with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including NRP, BLS (AHA), NBRC, ACLS (AHA); State license in Michigan; a minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience; location in Michigan; and relevant educational background
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience preferred
• Additional Information: The candidate will perform diagnostic tests such as measuring lung capacity, and treat patients with methods including chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications, and non-invasive therapies like CPAP and BIPAP. Responsibilities include interviewing and assessing pediatric patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders, consulting with physicians, and creating patient therapy programs.
