Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Michigan. This position involves delivering life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and medical gases therapy to patients. The role includes performing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for patients in Intensive Care and General Practice Units. The successful candidate will maintain clinical expertise, communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members, document patient care accurately, supervise and delegate tasks as needed, and complete patient billing information.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 13-week contract with night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience; current licensure and certification; BLS certification.
• Skills: LIFE-SUPPORT DELIVERY, RESUSCITATION, MONITORING, MEDICAL GASES THERAPY, INVASIVE DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES, DELEGATION, PATIENT BILLING, NON-INVASIVE DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES, CLINICAL EXPERTISE, EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION, PATIENT CARE DOCUMENTATION, SUPERVISION.
• Education: Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program.
• Certification & Licensure: Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care; current license as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience.
• Location: 205 N East Ave, Jackson, MI 49201.
• Start Date: 08/24/2026.
