Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (OT) Louisville, KY. This outpatient position offers an opportunity to evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans for patients, focusing on functional recovery and safe return to community activities. The role emphasizes patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to safety and professional standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience; CPR Certification; licensed or eligible for licensure in Kentucky.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with patient education and interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Additional Information: Completes comprehensive patient evaluations, develops and modifies treatment plans based on clinical reasoning, and documents accurately in medical records. Participates in student supervision, provides a positive learning environment, and pursues ongoing professional development. Ensures compliance with state practice regulations and maintains licensure in good standing. Demonstrates commitment to quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols, including safe patient handling, infectious disease control, and slip/trip prevention.
