Job Summary:
A Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory Technologist position is available in Salem, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized support for cardiac procedures in a lab with two rooms, including interventional, device implant, ablations, and PCI procedures. The position offers a crisis rate for specific start dates and requires working days from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 4x10 Days, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, with 7 call shifts per schedule block (4 weeks), including 3 full weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include ARRT Certification & Current Massachusetts License as Radiology Technician, American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Education includes a minimum of 3+ years of recent experience in interventional, cardiac, PCI, scrub and EPIC systems, as well as two years of travel experience. Experience with EPIC - Cupid electronic medical record, Toshiba X-Ray, and Cannon equipment, and potential floating to interventional radiology is necessary.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cath/EP Lab procedures, scrub responsibilities for device implants, lead revision, and ablations.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to interventional radiology.
- Additional Information: This position involves supporting adult patient population, performing procedures that include PCI, device implants, balloon pump, ablations, and more. The laboratory operates within a Cardiac Cath Lab environment utilizing Toshiba and Cannon equipment.
