Description
Job Summary:
Mammographer specializing in mammography procedures is needed at a healthcare organization located in Eureka, California. This position involves performing diagnostic mammograms, stereo biopsies, and screening exams, utilizing advanced digital imaging technology. The role requires working daytime shifts with a commitment of at least 40 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: CA license in hand, 0 years of experience, certification in ARRT (Mammography), ARRT (R), BLS, specific experience with Epic charting system, and experience in digital mammography procedures including stereotactic biopsy and fine needle aspiration. Candidate must have a valid CA license and be willing to work holidays.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Hologic 3D and related quality assurance procedures, inpatient or outpatient mammography experience, and management/lead experience.
- Additional Information: The assignment may require the candidate to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities. Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) are required. Candidates must include SSN, DOB, and RTO at the time of submission.
- Travel and Credentialing: Copy of certifications and specific charting experience using Epic are required.
- Modules: Self-reported; average 16 hours spent, with additional hours requiring project manager approval.
