Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position is located in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients within a healthcare facility. The position is ideal for professionals with a passion for pediatric respiratory therapy and a commitment to patient care excellence.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Varies, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with after-hours and weekend requirements.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty. Certifications including American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required. Licensure as a Georgia Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and NBRC Respiratory Therapist Certification (RRT) are mandatory.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in pediatric respiratory care settings.
- Additional Information: The assignment length is 13 weeks. Candidates must work 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as 1 minor holiday such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve. The position is for candidates residing more than 50 miles from the facility.
