Description
Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures within a hospital setting. The MRI Technologist will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and adhere to hospital policies, supporting the diagnostic process for various patient cases.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 08/24/2026 to 11/23/2026.
- Required Qualifications: MRI registration, Certified Radiologic Technologist certification or equivalent, valid state licensure if applicable, and 0 years of experience minimum.
- Preferred Qualifications: Breast MRI experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with MRI contrast and non-contrast procedures. The unit operates with GE MRI equipment and Cerner electronic medical records system. Hours are 7:00 am to 10:30 pm Monday through Friday and 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on weekends, with rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities.
