Job Summary
Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist position in a healthcare facility. This role involves supporting specialized procedures related to cardiac electrophysiology, including ICD, SICD, Pacemakers, Structural Heart interventions, and EP Ablation PVI. The technologist will work within a dedicated EP Lab, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to safety standards.
Job Details
- Position: EP Lab Technologist
- Specialty: Electrophysiology (EP)
- Shift Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (CVT), at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field. No experience requirement: 0 years.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with specialized procedures such as ICD, SICD, Pacemakers, Structural Heart, EP Ablation PVI.
- Additional Information: The role requires working on major holidays including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as one minor holiday such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Eve.
