Description

Job Summary:
X-ray Technologist in Grand Blanc, Michigan. This position involves performing computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients, with the potential to perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. The role requires working a schedule of dayshift hours, including every other weekend, at a Level II Trauma Center. The position is suitable for candidates with minimal experience.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 3-12 hour shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., with every other weekend; minimum of 36 hours per week; duration of 13 weeks.
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, radiologic procedures, radiographic techniques, patient positioning, radiation protection; High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; must maintain required hours of continued education; must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible; healthcare provider certification required (BLS).
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Required Skills & Experience: ARRT certification, radiologic procedures, radiographic techniques, patient positioning, radiation protection.
  • Additional Skills: Patient immobilization, intravenous contrast media administration, patient care, infection control practices, teaching, teamwork, communication, customer service, PACS, radiology information system, clinical documentation.
  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Certification & Licensure: ARRT registration, advanced registry in CT or registry-eligible, BLS certification.
